Fold and Stitch Table Centre with Leonie – 14 November 25

Date: Friday 14th November 2025
Time: 9:30am set up for a 10:00 start until 2:30pm

Focus of this workshop: using bag foam and quilters cotton to create a three-dimensional table or wall decoration.

Finished size: 20” diameter.

Clever sewing combined with clever folding of your created elements results in an attractive wreath with a centre suitable for additional decorative elements – a candle, vase, or dish for example. Made in Christmas fabrics and hung on the wall or door with added floral elements it has a truly festive feel. This is a project that results in something beautiful and eye catching that can be used all year round – hoose your fabrics and get ready to make something special!

Level of skill required for this workshop: Suitable for all interested sewists.. You will need to be familiar with your machine, knowing how to thread it, change the bobbin, the stitches and the
presser foot.

This workshop will develop the following skills:
• Working with bag foam.
• Cutting fabric accurately using a rotary cutter, ruler and mat.
• Techniques to aid sewing accurately.
• Matching seams for a perfect join.
• Using decorative stitches built into your machine to enhance your work.
