We are very pleased to welcome local sustainable designer Hanny-d to the shop for a special workshop on re-fashioning denim. Hanny launched her label in 2009, and every piece is a handmade one-off creation. She makes all her clothing, handbags and accessories from upcycled and reclaimed materials.

Make a one of kind tote bag made from suits. Go through your family’s wardrobes and find vintage suits or buy them from an opportunity shop. It’s a great way to have those memories used in a useful bag. Don’t feel bad about cutting these up, they often have holes or are unfashionable and you are giving them a new lease of life. It is the ultimate in upcycling.
