Times for each day: 10:00am to 1:00pm (9.30am setup)

Focus of this workshop: This class is designed for anyone wanting to achieve custom fitted underwear.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of suitable fabrics, trims and elastics to achieve the best results. Plus key techniques for working with high-stretch and challenging materials. Participants can construct using a sewing machine only or combine with an overlocker.

With extensive experience in lingerie construction, Lynne will offer access to her pattern library and fabric stash. You may trace off one of our patterns or purchase your own and bring it to class. Suggestions for suitable patterns can be found in the requirements list.

 This workshop will develop the following skills:

• Learning appropriate machine settings for stretch knits.
• Laying out and cutting challenging fabrics
• Calculating elastic measurements
• Pinning and sewing elastic around waist and legs
