Garment Pattern Alterations Workhops with Kerry

Date:  Third Monday of every month in  2026, with the exception of Public Holidays

Time: 10am to 2pm (9.30am setup)

In this class you will learn different alteration types and how to adapt that alteration for different situations. We can also investigate other methods and ideas that you have seen online, and test different ideas and solutions.

Each month I can answer your questions based off projects you are working on. You are encouraged to bring along garments and questions you have.

Things we may discuss – Garment sizing, Grain lines, Seam allowances, Bust alterations, Sleeve adjustments and shapes, how to ensure your sleeve fits & pant Crotches.

What you will need for the class-

• A4 sheets paper
• A spiral bound clear Folder
• Pencil 2b
• Coloured pens x2 colours
• 3^rd scale ruler if you have one if not don’t worry small geometry ruler is ok.
• Tape measure
• Your question for the day
• Your garment you would like to work on.
• Masking tape
